Sweet D.R.E.A.M Bow-tastic Party

Hi friends!

My sweet girl turned seven years old and it's insane how fast time flies when your having fun and soaking up all the love this little girl is blossoming.  She is sweet and kind inside and out. A  truly amazing human being and I'm so proud to be here mama. This year she wanted her party be all things Jojo Siwa and everything that comes with her from the big bows to unicorns and rainbows topped with lots of sweets like ice cream, cotton candy etc. and I must not forget the girly glam and shimmers.

She attended Slime Fest in Chicago and met Jojo Siwa in person and can't stop talking about her experience.  She likes all the sparkles and glitters in her fancy outfits, the face painting design and make up, needless to say I have a little fashionista.  I love that she is totally girly and believe in unicorn and loves to wear her big bows.

I like to make each party custom with my own touches and that includes colors and details.  We decided to make the whole design in pastel colors and I was very excited about that idea.  So now the planning started with the prettiest pastel colors to mimic a beautiful and colorful rainbow.  Our main colors are pink, mint and lilac along with yellow and gold.  Although we wanted this party to be simple and mostly DIY we want to make sure that a story is told in the deets and foods.

The first impression of your event is always the invitation and this year we did it totally different and on a whole new level with a video invitation.  This is such a cute and easy way to invite your friends to your party without having to worry about postage and your invite getting lost in the mail.  Cheers Invites did an amazing job with the pastel colors and everything that screams Jojo Siwa theme.

Balloons has been trending as a major decor style icon for parties today.  I quickly vision a balloon garland in rainbow colors over the kid's table, the first magical touch along with a giant inflatable unicorn in the background.  The kid's table already have a rainbow over it, so we needed clouds and I did just that for the centerpiece, a cloud table runner with pastel bows floating in the clouds.  It's not a Jojo Siwa theme party if bows are not thrown everywhere right?!  While we are still over the rainbow i found these pretty rainbow plates from Paper Boy Shop that I fell in love with  and this was the piece to the puzzle and things just started falling in place.  The straws and cutlery are iridescent to go along with the magical theme and I DIYed lilac paper napkins into the shape of  bows that was placed on the side of each rainbow plate.  Even the plates wore a bow.  It's so pretty see it for your self.

Can we just talk about the dessert setup.  I love how this all turned out.  This square cake stand that is filled with balloons and bows are made with acrylic and wood.  It was made by the birthday girl daddy.  How beautiful  is it? You can see the balloons !  I went with all clear dessert stands and acrylic mini easels for the cookies to keep everything magical and floating.  Here's clouds and the iridescent effect again in this DIYed backdrop and the unicorn hair formed in the shape of balloons as a garland draped down to side.  Jojo Siwa is all about spreading positive vibes for young girls and one of our favorite is "Dream Crazy Big"  you can see that on the cookies.  The cake pops are unicorns and the big bows, all the little details to pull of this theme was simple yet chic.   The custom name over the cake in gold glitter was a perfect detail for the backdrop.  Designing the cake wasn't easy but I narrowed it down to three important details that my daughter loves,  and that is unicorn, bows and tutu skirts. So, there you have it, the top is unicorn, middle bows and bottoms is ruffles.  The dessert area was adorable and I kept hearing aw when guests walk by countless time.

If you know, you know that JoJo likes candy and ice cream and so is my daughter.  We built and ice cream stand and decorated it with pink and mint decor all from Target, it was amazing.  My sweet girl favorite ice cream flavors are cotton candy and vanilla.  Of course we served those flavors along with toppings like sprinkles,  gummy bears etc.  Kids love ice-cream, why not set up an ice-cream stand or bar at your party?!

Another item that I DIYed is the unicorn pinata with pretty pink, mint and lilac crepe paper and then filled with all the yummy candy. This is one of the activity the kids did at the party along with karaoke, face painting, musical chair and so much more.

We all like striking a pose at parties with fun photo booth props and I found the perfect JoJo Siwa ones at Target.  This balloon wall as the photo area was very easy and inexpensive to DIY.  It turned out great and all the little fashionistas was striking poses nonstop.

Party favors is a must and i always enjoy designing the treat boxes.  This year we went with pink gable boxes and added giant mint bows on the top along with her name in gold glitter and the Jojo signature heart at the end. It's the little things in the details that help pull a theme together.  They turned out very pretty and she was so happy handing them out to her friends.

Thanks for celebrating with us, I hope you are inspired and like the party.  I look forward to seeing you here for my next one.  If you have any questions, please leave them in the comment section below or you can reach me on Instagram.
