Hello Friends!
Sharing the love today in the form of shabby chic pretties, loads of pastels and tons of hearts and flowers. Do you throw a Valentine's party for your kids or friends? I'm sharing this cute little tea party for my daughter and her guests are her little girlfriends and their dolls, so priceless. This might be the cutest thing you have seen in a very long time and might knock your socks off. Tea parties are our favorite and what better way to celebrate Valentine's day than sharing cups of love with your best friends. Love is express in many ways and on this day it's important to show it to your friends too.
When brainstorming the design for this party I know that I have to check out Oriental Trading's website for some cute Valentine's party goodies. I was so happy when I saw the floral garland and mini tin mailboxes. These are pieces of the puzzle to bring the theme i envision together.

The chairs for the girls were style with a tulle pom and the table was spread with shabby chic floral print table runner, pink candles, mini tea cups with saucers and pearls. It was so pretty they were excited to take their seats.
Above the vanity that was used as the dessert table were beautiful pink rose garland from Oriental Trading draping down. This is one of my favorite decor for this party.
This beautiful naked cake was everything topped with a roses in the shape of a heart. Look at the party favor, just so precious i will go into details on that in a few.
I love pastel and shabby chic and although this was a very small party it was important to include the details of what make a shabby chic look.

This is the best view of the setup. How cute is the LOVE sign from Target?!
We didn't want the mirror to be expose so it was carefully covered with sweet little heart shape doilies and it add that shabby chic look right away. We love all the white and pastels in this photo from the pail pink heart cakes on the tier stand and to the envelope shape cookies in the mailboxes.
A closer look at the heart shape doilies that covered the mirror and that pretty little heart shape rosette decor from Hobby Lobby is so darling.
Precious little table setting for the girls.
